Reviews and Ratings
I had a really nice stay at the hotel, with great rooms and service, but the location felt a bit dated. The breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were outstanding.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The room, with its French balcony, was a nice touch despite some external noise disturbances. The service, although a bit slow, was personalized with special considerations for my dog. The location was convenient for exploring the city, but the dining experience was affected by a large group of travelers. The facilities overall were decent, with a few positives and negatives.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The French balcony in the room was a nice touch, allowing fresh air in during the heat wave, but the size and decor fell short of my expectations for a cozy modern feel. Despite that, the room was impeccably clean. The service, while friendly and helpful, felt more like being at home. The location was convenient with short walks to shops, but the dated feel was noticeable. The dining experience was a bit busy, making it hard to find a table at times, but the food was wonderful with a renovating kitchen in the background. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel room towards the pedestrian street was compact but quite adequate and very clean, equipped with most required amenities. It was not quite what I expected in terms of size and decorations, but overall a comfortable stay. The service in the restaurant/bar, despite the unusual request for my credit card number for a deposit, was extremely friendly and helpful, especially considering our late arrival. The location, although lacking good views, is very convenient with short walking distances to shops and various dining options. The dining experience, while excellent with non-dairy options available, was busy due to numerous tour groups. The facilities provided were satisfactory with a few minor issues.
The hotel was a gem with spacious rooms that allowed us to have separate beds, and the French balcony was perfect during the recent Scandinavian heatwave. The breakfast was truly one of the best I've ever had in any hotel. However, the request to write down credit card numbers for a deposit was a bit off-putting.
